About Nayana Design Studio:

Nayana Design Studio is the brainchild and artistic expression of Nayana Jha. She founded her company in 2011 in NYC to make accessible beautiful paper products featuring her unique and beautiful artwork. Her artwork has been licensed and featured across with global brands, and carried in museums. Her newest collection titled “FLORA BOTANICA” will be highlighted at the MIA store for their Art in Bloom season.

She re-launched in 2022 with an expanded portfolio of specialty luxe gift wrap papers, journals and cards – all highlighting her original whimsical patterns and designs, all drawn and painted with love by hand.

From eye-catching wrapping paper to premium notebooks, all of her products are designed to bring a little more meaning, joy and magic to each occasion.

Nayana has been a lifelong artist and designer/maker. Her aesthetic is rooted in her Indian heritage which is renowned for its traditions of craft, color and iconography. She merges the legacy patterns of global styles with contemporary vibes.

She is a Minneapolis native and returned after a lengthy stint in NYC. A proud alum of The Blake School and Wellesley College, she spent over 20 years working on Wall Street and corporate America in senior positions at leading companies such JPMorgan, BNP Paribas, Bank of America and Time Warner, and currently consults for an entrepreneur developing innovative companies in the art/tech, medical tech, and AI fields.

Nayana makes her home in both Minneapolis and Brooklyn with her husband, and most simply loves designing beautiful things and being a doting Aunty.
