Update Regarding Our LynLake Location:

We have a bittersweet update regarding our LynLake location. Our last brunch service will be on Sunday, July 16th. After this date, we are shifting the focus of our LynLake focus entirely to a private event venue and catering business to accommodate the increase of requests for events at our Minneapolis location. Brunch will still be served daily at our Edina location. For more details, please read the press release regarding this change below:

July 6, 2023 – Minneapolis, Minn. – The Lynhall LynLake location shifts focus to an event-driven space to accommodate the increase of requests for events held in Minneapolis. Restaurant service will be suspended at the LynLake location with the last brunch service on Sunday, July 16.

“We have seen a significant increase in the private event and catering side of the business this past year,” said Anne Spaeth, Owner of The Lynhall. “The LynLake location is such a gorgeous space with its timeless English Cottage design which already hosts many events throughout the year and has the perfect set-up and space to accommodate even more. Our team really enjoys executing private events, catering, and Lynhall-led ticketed events and is excited to focus more attention in these areas in the future.”

The Lynhall is a go-to event space to host holiday parties, social gatherings, business meetings, afternoon tea service, weddings, and rehearsal dinners as well as community events. The private dining menu ranges from a cocktail and canapé reception, family-style meals to a tasting menu with wine pairings. The chef team can also create a custom menu that focuses on the guests’ specific tastes and preferences. The LynLake location currently offers four options that can be reserved for brunch, dinner, full day buyouts, or partial day buyouts with a seated capacity ranging from 35 – 150 people and standing capacity ranging from 65- 300 people. The conversion of the restaurant space will significantly increase capacity and options for events.

“The Linney Studio space, a state-of-the-art kitchen studio outfitted with professional-grade video and audio equipment, will be another focus for growth,” said Spaeth. “The studio is available to rent for commercial or non-professional production. It’s such a beautiful space and would be a memorable experience for a private event or for professional use.”  

The LynLake location also hosts community events that have grown in popularity. From cooking classes, holiday cookie demonstrations, book launches and readings to motivational speakers and more.

“In addition to building our events and catering business, we continue to field inquiries from real estate developers who are seeking a Lynhall Edina like experience in their new buildings,” said Spaeth. “Our LynLake location already serves as a production facility for Edina and has capacity to add on more locations. We are excited for all the possibilities to further build The Lynhall brand.”
