About the book: This fall, expert baker and bestselling author Zoë François releases Zoë Bakes Cookies: Everything You Need to Know to Make Your Favorite Cookies and Bars. Zoë Bakes Cookies features 75 irresistible recipes for classic cookies and bars inspired by her life. Cookies are what first launched Zoë’s voyage into the world of baking. Zoë Bakes Cookies is an ode to her life experiences–from the ancestors who baked before her, to her childhood on aVermont commune, and to her current home in the Midwest.
In the beginning of the book, Zoë guides bakers deeper into each recipe in her joyful, informativestyle with her Cookie Academy. Through (light) science-based how-to’s and tips that she’s pickedup throughout her career, Zoë equips bakers with the tools they need to create flawless cookies and bars and to alter recipes to fit their ideal cookie needs.

She later studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York andhas been a pastry chef at several Twin Cities restaurants.
