In celebration of International Women’s Day, The Lynhall is hosting Kali Bhandari & Autumn Huiatt of Imaginare Studios for a conversation on gender inequality. The speakers will be discussing their experiences and research on the roles of failure, bravery, and lack of confidence in perpetrating gender inequality, and what we can do about it!
The speakers are developing a series of children’s books that focus on dismantling gender stereotypes “one fairytale at a time.” Their first book, “Cinderella,” features a spunky protagonist named Danielle, who learns to stand up to the challenges she faces, gaining bravery, and a whole lot more in the process, with nary a prince in sight!
Adults are strongly encouraged to attend with their children and participate in this discussion.
Tickets are $20. Copies of the Author’s first book “Cinderella” will be available for sale and a book signing with the author will follow the event.
