For centuries, food has brought people together to celebrate life and foster new friendships around a kitchen table. In 2006, The Lynhall’s Hospitality Manager, Nico Giraud landed in Minnesota from France, bringing his passion for food, wine, as well as his genuine sense of hospitality. Since then, he has had the privilege to meet and work alongside the extremely talented people who are a huge part of the Twin Cities dining scene today.

Join us at The Lynhall as we launch a series of events celebrating the friendships born from gathering around food and drink in restaurants’ kitchens. We are delighted to welcome our second chef, Brandon M. Randolph, of Shish Mediterranean Grill. This intimate evening is limited to 30 guests and will begin with a demonstration by Brandon, followed by a three-course dinner featuring classic recipes from Brandon’s repertoire, and special wine pairings selected by Nico.

To honor of those in our industry who are struggling with their mental and chemical health proceeds from the evening will benefit The Long Table Fund. The Long Table Fund works in partnership with the community to connect and empower those in the restaurant industry affected by trauma, mental health issues, and chemical dependency. Proceeds of The Long Table Fund will provide mission-specific educational opportunities and increased access to crisis mental health care for members of the restaurant industry.

Join us for the lovely evening filled with stories celebrating food, friendship, teaching and togetherness. Tickets are $150 and are limited to 30 people.

About Chef Brandon M. Randolph

Brandon M. Randolph was born and raised in Minnesota and has lived here all his life.  He attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in 2008 with no idea of where his degree would take him, what he would learn or whom he would meet.  He was still trying to determine if he would use his degree for a career or be happy with knowing how to cook, since he “loves to eat.”  After culinary school Brandon has relied on his work ethic and moral passion, which gained him opportunities to working with and under most of the best chefs in the Twin Cities at Solera, Heartland Restaurant, and The Bachelor Farmer.  Brandon prides himself for having worked with Lenny Russo, Tim McKee, Paul Berglund and Andrew Zimmer.  During his culinary quest, Brandon feels he’s found himself, which has helped him realize how important it is for him to be committed to local, real food.  The past five years Brandon has worked as the Chef at the Minnesota Governor’s Residence, Chef de Cuisine at Pearl and the Thief and now Executive Chef at Shish Mediterranean Grill.

When he is not cooking, Brandon spend time with his daughter Stella and his fiancée Rae.
